How your kit gets to you, and what to do if it isn't right.
Every kit is made to order in our West Cork workshop, so please allow 5–7 working days for your order to be prepared before it ships. Delivery within Ireland then typically takes a further 1–3 working days by courier.
Postage within Ireland is a flat rate of €9.00 per order, shown at checkout before you pay.
Once your order has been dispatched, we will provide delivery information where available.
If you purchase a product from us online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason. You must inform us of your decision to cancel within that 14-day period, and you then have a further 14 days to return the goods.
To cancel, use our online cancellation form, or complete our model cancellation form (PDF) and email it to hello@westcorkcraftkits.ie. We'll then send you instructions for returning the goods. Return postage is the customer's responsibility unless the item was faulty or incorrect.
Each kit arrives unpainted, so please return it unused and in its original packaging where possible. Once a kit has been painted or opened it can no longer be resold, so we may not be able to offer a full refund at that point unless the kit was faulty or damaged on arrival.
Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the payments we have received from you, including the cost of standard delivery where applicable.
We will normally issue the refund using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.
Plaster figures are carefully packed but can occasionally be damaged in transit. If your kit arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days with a photo and your order number, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.
We are responsible for ensuring that the products we supply conform to the contract, are as described and meet the requirements of applicable Irish consumer law.
If a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract, please contact us as soon as possible.
Your statutory rights may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances and the applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights under Irish or EU consumer protection law.
Please do not dispose of the damaged item or packaging until we have advised you what to do, as we may need photographs or other information to investigate the issue.
If you receive the wrong kit or something is missing from your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will put the problem right and arrange for the correct item or missing component to be supplied, or provide another appropriate remedy in accordance with your consumer rights.
Nothing in this Delivery & Returns Policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law.
When you buy goods from West Cork Craft Kits, you are protected by Irish consumer law. Goods must conform to the sales contract, including being as described and of the required quality and performance. Where goods are faulty or do not conform, consumers may have rights to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances.
