2. Orders & payment

Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we accept once payment is confirmed. Card payments are processed securely by BOI Payment Acceptance; we never see or store your full card details. We reserve the right to decline an order where we are unable to fulfil it, for example because an item is unexpectedly unavailable or there has been an obvious error in the product description or price. If we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will provide a full refund of the amount paid.

3. Delivery

Delivery times and costs are set out on our Delivery & returns page. Risk in your order passes to you once it's delivered to the address you provided.

We will make every reasonable effort to deliver your order within the estimated delivery time frame shown on our website. If your order is significantly delayed or is not delivered within the applicable timeframe, please contact us so that we can investigate and, where applicable, you may have a right to cancel the contract and receive a refund.

4. Returns & cancellation

If you purchase a product from us online, you generally have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason.

To exercise this right, you must inform us of your decision to cancel within the 14-day cancellation period. You then have a further 14 days to return the goods.

You can cancel using our online cancellation form, or by completing our model cancellation form (PDF) and emailing it to hello@westcorkcraftkits.ie.

Further information about how to exercise your cancellation rights, return costs and refunds is provided on our Delivery & returns page.

Refunds

Where you validly exercise your statutory right to cancel, we will refund the payments we have received from you, including the cost of standard delivery where applicable.

We will normally issue the refund using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless otherwise agreed.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided evidence that you have returned them, whichever occurs first.

5. Product descriptions

We try to describe and photograph every kit accurately.

6. Handmade variations

Our plaster figures are individually cast and finished by hand. Small variations in colour, texture, surface finish, mould lines or minor imperfections may occur between individual figures and photographs shown on our website. These natural variations are part of the handmade nature of our products and will not affect their intended use.

However, this does not affect your statutory rights where a product is faulty, materially different from its description or does not conform to the contract.

7. Product safety & compliance

West Cork Craft Kits trades in accordance with applicable EU product safety regulations, and our kits are CE certified. See our Safety & materials page for age recommendations and supervision guidance.

8. Intellectual property

All designs, characters, stories and artwork on this site are the property of West Cork Craft Kits and may not be reproduced without permission.

9. Liability

Kits contain small parts and paint and should be used as described on our Safety & materials page, with adult supervision where recommended. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Irish law.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern about an order or product, please contact us at hello@westcorkcraftkits.ie and provide your order number and details of the issue.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve complaints promptly and fairly.

If you are unhappy with how your complaint has been handled, please contact us again so that we can review the matter.

11. Contact & governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you have any questions about an order, please get in touch using the contact details in section 1. How we use your personal data is explained in our Privacy policy.
